FROM WITHIN
Is not performance, but presence where fire refines, the moon and sun unite, and transformation becomes sound.

The Crest | A Ribus of Becoming
This emblem is my ribus—a code of becoming, born between two cultures I hold sacred.
The crescent moon comes from my time in Morocco, where faith, humility, and devotion shaped my spirit. More than a symbol, the moon became my compass while traveling—no matter where I was in the world, it grounded me, reminding me of home within. A close friend in Marrakech helped shape this design, giving form to something that had always been a quiet guide.
The circle reflects the rising sun of Japan, a symbol of clarity, renewal, and discipline. Together, they mirror the balance of anima and animus—the receptive and the radiant, the soft and the strong—two forces completing one another.
The rays that extend outward mark expansion: the light within breaking past boundaries, carrying memory and fire into new worlds.
This logo is not just a design. It is a mirror of my journey, my reverence for Morocco and Japan, and my path of integration—warrior and monk, lover and dancer, shadow and flame.
From Within, everything is held here.

AKISANO | THE PATH OF THE MONK | FROM WITHIN MIX SERIES PT. 1
The Path of the Monk 1/3 — The first in a three-part sonic journey. THE WAY KYOTO
One of the highlights of this project was my time in Japan—most especially in Kyoto, in the mountain village of Ōhara. I came seeking stillness, and found it in the path of the monk days spent soaking in the onsen, walking narrow village streets, and moving slowly along moss-lined temple grounds. Each shrine visit, each step on worn stone, each quiet sip of green tea became its own ritual, a small reset of the soul. Kyoto, where silence spoke louder than noise and presence carried its own weight. I let myself breathe, watching light shift across wooden gates and trees sway in the mountain air. Kyoto became a mirror less about movement, more about being—a place that shaped the spirit of this mix. Please give it a listen, and travel with me down the path of sounds and emotions that Kyoto offered.
A Conversation Between Lovers
This mix is a dialogue between the Lover and the Warrior. The anima and the animus. Masculine and feminine energy weave together through sound. This section is a smooth transition from the full mix — From Within. A moment of sensuality, reflection, and soft intensity. The tracks speak to each other like whispers between shadow and light. Feel the rhythm. Follow the current. And let it move through you.
SAMEECHIE
You weren’t just a dog, you were my best friend, my family, my companion.
From the day I found you calm at the shelter while every other dog barked for attention, I knew you were the one. You carried your own fire, sweet, loving, a little bossy, and became a character in my world.
Through moves, new backyards, and shared adventures, you were there. And when life pulled us apart, I know it broke something in you. The last time we locked eyes, I felt it—you wanted to stay.
I believe you left this world with a broken heart, but you’ll live forever in mine.
Adventure. Love. Fire.
My true companion till the end.

ELEGANCE IN ASHES
Fire is not only an ending—it is a refinement. It strips away what no longer serves, leaving behind the raw essence of what is true.
In Elegance in Ashes, the burning pagoda becomes both ruin and rebirth. Its collapse is not decay but transformation—a sacred purification through flame. Out of the smoke rises the phoenix, the eternal reminder that beauty often emerges only after surrender.
This piece is about that threshold: the moment when destruction becomes creation, when loss becomes clarity, and when the ashes reveal something more whole than what stood before.
Grace found in ruin.
Elegance born from fire.

COLLECTION SUMMARY
From Within is a living project, a fusion of sound, image, memory, and ritual that documents my own transformation. It is a body of work shaped not by performance, but by presence, born from silence and refined through fire.
At its core, From Within explores the eternal cycle of destruction and rebirth. The burning pagoda, consumed yet luminous, becomes a metaphor for refinement: fire as both end and beginning, collapse as purification. From its ashes rises the phoenix, symbol of resilience and transcendence.
The logo itself holds this duality the crescent moon drawn from my time in Marrakech and Islam, a reminder of grounding no matter where I stood in the world. Paired with the circlemy, my original emblem, and a homage to Japan’s rising sun, it unites two cultures that shaped me deeply. Moon and sun, shadow and light, East and West—brought into one form, one wholeness.
This cycle of integration extends inward. The archetypes of the Warrior and the Monk, the Lover and the Dancer, map the inner dualities of anima and animus, discipline and surrender, fire and stillness. Each mix and performance is not just music, but a sonic painting that channels these energies into frequency.
Even love and loss have become part of this ritual. The Sameechie Bag—inspired by my late dog and true companion—extends her memory into form. She was fire, loyalty, and unconditional presence, now carried forward as a design piece, reminding us that what we love can live on in what we create.
From Within is, above all, a project of wholeness. It is about becoming—not in fragments, but in unity. Moon and sun. Japan and Morocco. Warrior and monk. Anima and animus. Fire and ash. Love and grief. Presence and sound.
